Frequently Asked Questions
✿ Are the plants exactly the same and will they look exactly like the photo?
Each Bellflower & Bee Co. plant is hand-potted individually, so natural variations in fullness, leaf shape, terracotta texture, and styling are part of what makes every piece unique.
✿ Do all pots include a saucer?
Yes — all Bellflower & Bee Co. terracotta pots include a matching saucer.
✿ What type of pots do you use?
Our pots are natural European terracotta selected for their timeless natural charm and breathable clay construction. We try to use as many natural materials as possible throughout each piece, including jade stone, seashells, natural twine, glass seed vials, and beads, bamboo picks, and living plants paired with quality soil.
✿ Why does my terracotta pot look white or stained?
Because terracotta is a natural breathable clay, mineral deposits and moisture markings can occasionally appear over time. The inside of each pot is sealed to help reduce moisture absorption, but subtle variations and markings are part of the handmade character of natural terracotta. If desired, the surface can usually be refreshed easily with a damp cloth.
✿ Do the plants come with wildflower seeds?
Each Signature and Heritage pot includes a small glass vial filled with pollinator-friendly flower seeds selected to support bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators. Mini pots do not include the seed vial, but are designed with the same thoughtful Bellflower & Bee Co. spirit.
✿ Do I have to start the seeds in the pot?
No. You may start a small pinch of seeds in the original terracotta pot or scatter them directly outdoors in a sunny location after the danger of frost has passed.
✿ What are pollinators?
Pollinators are bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other helpful creatures that move pollen between flowers, helping plants, gardens, fruits, and wildflowers grow and thrive.
Even small patches of pollinator-friendly flowers can help provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators. By attracting these important creatures into gardens and outdoor spaces, pollinator flowers can help support healthier local ecosystems and natural plant pollination.
✿ Will my small patch of wildflowers really make a difference?
It can. Even small patches of pollinator-friendly flowers help attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators by providing food and resting places.
As pollinators spend time nearby, they naturally visit surrounding gardens, vegetables, herbs, and flowers — helping support healthier plant growth and natural pollination along the way.
We love the idea that even one small pot of flowers can help bring a little more life and beauty into the world around it.
✿ Are spider plants easy to care for?
Very. Spider plants are known for being forgiving, adaptable, and beginner-friendly.
✿ Are brown tips on spider plants normal?
Yes. Brown tips are very common on spider plants and are usually nothing to worry about.
Spider plants can be sensitive to naturally occurring minerals found in tap water, which may occasionally cause the tips of the leaves to turn brown. This does not mean your plant is unhealthy.
If desired, you can simply trim the brown tips with a clean, sharp scissors. New growth will continue to emerge as the plant grows.
Providing bright and direct light and allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings will help keep your spider plant looking its best.
✿ Can I reuse the terracotta pot later?
Absolutely. Many customers reuse their pots for herbs, seedlings, wildflowers, or small garden accents after repotting their spider plant.
✿ Do you offer shipping?
At this time, shipping is not available.
✿ Where can I purchase Bellflower & Bee Co. plants?
Currently, Bellflower & Bee Co. pieces are available at the Junk to Jazz location in Sinking Spring, PA.
✿ Do you offer local pickup?
Yes — local pickup may be available depending on current inventory and seasonal availability.
✿ Can I message you with questions?
